When creating an e-mail I often wish to cut and paste text from other e-mails or MS Word documents, then select the new message and change the font of the entire message to a chosen size. Unlike previous e-mail systems (Windows Live Mail, for example) I find it very difficult to do this with Thunderbird. The 'bigger and smaller' arrows don't allow me to select an exact font size, which is a nuisance, and, even when I use the arrows, the resulting e-mail still exhibits several different font sizes.
